We are delighted to share the news that St. Mark's has been named as one of the top 20 state secondary schools for 2024 based on Progress at GCSE. There are 3,452 secondary schools in England and St Mark's is the 14th highest-performing school in the country and the second highest Catholic school. Our Progress 8 figure for 2024 was 1.35. Progress 8 measures how students learn and progress from KS2 to GCSE, and any figure above 0.5 is considered 'well above average' so St. Mark's Progress 8 figure was truly exceptional.
